Youth Ministries
Here at WPC we are passionate about one thing: knowing and loving Jesus. Our aim in Youth Ministry is to faithfully introduce students to the grace of Christ and call them towards a life of obedient worship. We believe that God is good, the Bible is His unchanging word, and redemption is offered to all.

Regular activities are offered in the hope of EQUIPPING believers, CONNECTING students and adults, and REACHING our world. These activities include large-group meetings, smaller discipleship groups, and special monthly events. We also believe students to be a vital part of our larger church body, and purpose to give them a place, not just in a youth ministry, but in the church of Jesus.

Other WPC Youth Websites
WPC Youth maintains our own website with photos, activities listings, leader bios and much more. Visit our WPC Atlanta Youth WREC site for more information on activities, leaders, philosophy and more.

One of our favorite things to do is to hang out with each other, have fun and laugh; another is to document it. Visit our SmugMug Site for photos of our good times. Lots of them.

Regular Activities

WREC

A weekly large-group meeting for both teens in grades 7-12 and preteens in grades 5-6. You can expect a time of fellowship and fun, corporate singing, and a lesson from the Bible. Each week's lesson points to the person of Jesus as Lord and Savior. And because of Jesus, we’re able to exalt the grace-giver (Worship), give grace (Reach), speak grace (Equip), and share grace with one another (Connect).

TIME: 6:30-8:30PM

PLACE: Church Fellowship Hall

LEADERS: Jason Stephenson, Mary Brantley Boyd, Alex & Maggie Halbert, and Joy Parker

Sunday School

Each Sunday morning, our church gathers for Sunday School before the morning worship service. Our Preteen class is currently led by Mary Brantley Boyd and includes time with our Music Director, Jerry Naff. The Teen class is led by Ken Rolston, with a current study underway of the New Testament book of Hebrews.

TIME: 9:00-10:00AM

PLACE: Room 6 in the Church (Teens), Downstairs (Preteens)

D-Group & G-Group

All girls in grades 7th-12th are invited to join us on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month for a time to study God's word and spend time with each other. It runs from 7:30-9:00PM, and is meeting this semester at Panera Bread near Northlake Mall.

Because D-group is "for girls", our guys meet each week in Gee-group!  It also meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month, from 7:30-9:00PM at the home of Alex Halbert in Tucker.
