Women's Ministry at Westminster Presbyterian Church, PCA

The purpose of the Westminster Women’s Ministry is that every woman know Christ personally and be committed to extending His Kingdom in her life, home, church, community, and throughout the world.

Psalm 46:10-11

Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.

Ministry Goals

  • Minister to women as women and encourage connections through intentional relationships.

  • Encourage spiritual growth of the women in our church with emphasis on Scripture and application of Scriptural principles to daily life.

  • Nurture the prayer lives of women in our church, praying for the life-changing work of God in and through us.

  • Provide an opportunity for each woman to discern and exercise her gifts and abilities to the glory of God in the total work and worship of the church.

  • Purposefully equip the women of Westminster to serve as pillars of support to our church in its mission.

Women’s Sunday School Class:

All women are invited to join us as we study The 10 Commandments. We will begin from a broad perspective defining ‘law’, ‘light’, and ‘love’ and how the intersection of these in God’s hands resulted in the Decalogue. The class is taught by Amy Veerman and Karen Sedlak. We hope you will join us as we take a new look at the Law.
