Camp Westminster

Since its beginnings in 1955, Camp Westminster...

Since its beginnings in 1955, Camp Westminster has been a unique ministry devoted to reaching children from all economic and lifestyle backgrounds with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Its purpose is to promote both the Gospel and the personal growth of the individual Christian, emphasizing ministry to youth in a fun and safe outdoor environment.

We currently reach about 1,000 children through 60 staff each summer. Activities include horse-back riding, sports, fishing, paintball, high and low-ropes courses, creative crafts, drama, swimming, canoeing, etc. During the year we also host many other programs for children and youth. Camp also provides a facility for other organizations to meet during the year. Visit the Camp Westminster website.

Men’s Ministry

We believe that the spiritual vitality of men is...

We believe that the spiritual vitality of men is crucial to the spiritual health of families and the church. We want the men of Westminster to be: Christ-like men; spiritual leaders in their families; godly husbands, fathers, sons, and friends; committed to Christ, his Church, and the work of His Kingdom; committed to excellence and godliness in their vocations; and salt and light in their communities.

To assist men in growing in these ways, we provide opportunities for the development of relationships with other men and for growth in grace through the following:

  • Quarterly Breakfasts and Special Events: Periodically throughout the year we hold special events and retreats for men to provide opportunities for a concentrated time of fellowship and/or teaching.

  • Softball: Westminster Presbyterian fields a men’s softball team during the summer from mid-May through the end of August. This is a wonderful tool for fellowship and connection between older and younger men in our congregation. Games are played once per week, generally on a weeknight. All are welcome to join, regardless of skill level.

  • Men’s Discipleship Groups: We have a number of men’s discipleship groups, with the goal of providing a means to support each other in our walk of faith. For more information about a group in your area. Download the current map and schedule.

Community Groups are the small group ministry of Westminster. They are vital to the ministry structure of the church. Most groups meet twice a month in homes and sometimes at the church for fellowship, prayer, and Bible study. They are a great way to connect more deeply with fellow Westminster members and to grow in relationship with one another.

The Youth Ministry exists to bring glory to God by impacting students with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and by equipping them to have a walk with God that affects every area of their lives. Our aim in youth ministry is to faithfully introduce students to the grace of Christ and call them towards a life of obedient worship. We believe that God is good, the Bible is His unchanging word, and redemption is offered to all.
