Children’s Ministry at Westminster

We believe that children are a gift from God and we seek to provide a nurturing as well as fun environment for our covenant children to learn and grow in grace.

What do we believe?

Our mission is to assist parents in reaching the covenant children of Westminster with the Gospel and in equipping them for growth in grace and service in God’s Kingdom.

Goals of the Mission:

1. Clearly present the biblical gospel of Jesus Christ, encouraging the children to
respond in faith.
2. Give our children a solid foundation in knowledge and understanding of
God’s Word
3. Teach our children what worship is through instructions and example.
4. Provide opportunities for children to grow in relationship with one another.
5. Teach the children to look at the world around them from a biblical perspective.

Avenues to Ministry:

We seek to accomplish our mission through teaching and/ or fostering relationships through the following:

Sunday School

We use Great Commission Publications Show Me Jesus Curriculum with all our children.

Children’s Church

For children ages 4-6 years old, a structured teaching time which includes learning a hymn, Bible story, follow up activity, and prayer time.

Children's Choir

Music fundamentals are taught as well as concepts of music and hymnody. The children sing in our worship services several times a year.

Special Events

Easter Egg Hunt, Missions Conference, & family outings.
